What Gamification?

Gamification is a SupportPal plugin turning ticket closure into a light game mechanic: operators earn points, climb a leaderboard, and see a coin animation when they wrap up a ticket. Small, lightweight, and it works — teams that switch it on see measurable lift in tickets-closed per agent.

Points are awarded through SupportPal hooks on ticket close. The distribution is configurable per ticket type, priority and SLA adherence — a ticket closed within SLA is worth more than an overdue one. Daily and monthly leaderboards are visible on the agent dashboard.

For support managers this is the simplest motivation instrument without the gimmick weight of Salesforce-style gamification platforms. For agents it’s a small dopamine hit per closed ticket.

FAQ

Do agents get unhappy when they "lose"?

In practice not — the score is a guide, not a punishment. Scores can be made private (only own score visible) where culture demands it.

How many points per ticket?

Fully configurable. Default: 1 point per close within SLA, 2 for urgent tickets, 0 for overdue closes.

Does it work on SupportPal v4?

From SupportPal 5.5 onwards. No off-the-shelf build for older versions.

How much does it cost?

One-off licence per SupportPal install. Quote at hello@conocido.nl.
