Wimood is a hardware asset-tracking platform that follows the full life of a UniFi network device: from purchase at the Wimood supplier, through the HostFact invoice it ends up on, to the UniFi site where it ultimately runs in production. Everything tied together via serial numbers and MAC addresses.
For MSPs deploying lots of UniFi gear this is the answer to "where is this access point, actually?" For every device you can see when it was ordered, on which supplier invoice it appeared, for which customer it was billed, and on which UniFi site it’s currently online.
The system daily-syncs orders and product data from the Wimood supplier API, scans and parses HostFact invoices for serial numbers, and queries every connected UniFi controller to validate physical presence. Discrepancies (ordered but never seen, invoiced but not in inventory) end up in a review queue.
