A lightweight, standalone viewer for SCCM Remote Control.
SCCM RC Viewer is a lightweight, standalone remote-control client for Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM) Remote Control. It talks directly to the Remote Control agent on managed endpoints, so a support engineer can take over a workstation without opening the full Configuration Manager console.
Under the hood sits a from-scratch Rust implementation of the remote-control/RDP protocol: bitmap caching and MPPC decompression for smooth display over slow links, cursor and order rendering, multi-monitor support and NTLM/SSPI authentication. No Electron, no heavy runtime — one compact, fast binary.
Built for MSP support teams taking over Windows workstations every day. Multi-monitor with a per-screen switcher, an EN/DE/NL interface and a session audit log. Conocido uses it in its own service desk before it reaches other MSPs.
Connects to the Remote Control agent on SCCM/Configuration Manager endpoints — without the full Configuration Manager console.
Bitmap cache, MPPC decompression, cursor and order rendering — from scratch in Rust, no heavy runtime.
View all screens at once or switch per monitor during a session.
Secure authentication against the host with mutual verification.
Logs sessions and recordings so support actions stay traceable.
Fully localised interface for international support teams.
taking over Windows workstations without depending on the official Windows viewer.
wanting Configuration Manager Remote Control outside the console.
wanting a fast, light client instead of a heavy remote tool.
Rust · eigen RDP/RC-stack · NTLM/SSPI
The official CmRcViewer is tied to the Configuration Manager console. SCCM RC Viewer is a standalone, lightweight client speaking the same Remote Control protocol — usable outside the console.
For a compact, fast binary with no heavy runtime and memory-safe handling of the binary protocol. Display stays smooth even over slower connections.
It is built around SCCM/Configuration Manager Remote Control. For environments without SCCM an RMM remote session makes more sense.
