HostFact ↔ HostBill is the Laravel migration toolkit we built for ourselves when we moved from HostFact to HostBill. Migrating between billing platforms looks simple on paper — until you realise customers, products, subscriptions, invoices, transactions and notes all have different data models.
The toolkit handles the complete mapping: customer records, subscriptions-with-pricing, invoice history, payment transactions, even custom fields. With dry-run you can simulate the migration fully without writing anything to HostBill, and validation reports show what does and doesn’t map one-to-one.
For MSPs considering a platform switch, the toolkit saves time and money — and because we ran it in production ourselves, we know where the sharp edges are.
