What AppVitals?

AppVitals is the most mature product in the Conocido portfolio. It brings Real User Monitoring, synthetic checks and Core Web Vitals together in one place — so you’re not jumping between three tools to figure out why a page is slow.

Where most monitoring tools hand you a second inbox full of false alarms, AppVitals is explicitly built the other way: alerts only fire on real regressions. We use statistical thresholds that account for time-of-day, device type and page, not one global "p95 < 1.5s" rule that pages someone every night.

For SaaS companies, e-commerce and agencies juggling multiple customer sites, AppVitals is the only tool you need. For compliance-sensitive sectors, a self-hosted version is available — all measurements stay inside your own infrastructure.

What it does

Real User Monitoring

Performance data from actual visitors via a light JS snippet (<3KB). p50, p75, p95 per page, per device, per browser.

Synthetic checks

Scheduled HTTP and browser checks from multiple geographic locations. Tests uptime plus functional flows like login and checkout.

Core Web Vitals

LCP, INP and CLS tracked the way Google measures them — useful for SEO reports and performance budgets.

Smart alerts

Anomaly detection with time-of-day awareness. No pager at 3am for a natural low-traffic dip.

Long-term storage

TimescaleDB retains all data for at least 13 months — compare Q1 this year to Q1 last year.

Self-hosted option

For customers with data residency requirements we run AppVitals inside their own infra or EU cluster.

Who it’s for

SaaS and webapp teams

who need fast feedback on whether a release made performance worse.

Agencies and hosting providers

who want to give each client visibility into load times and uptime.

E-commerce

where every 100ms of latency costs conversion.

FAQ

Is AppVitals GDPR-compliant?

Yes. All data is hosted in the Netherlands. We don’t store IP addresses (only anonymised geo) and don’t use tracking cookies. For stricter requirements, a self-hosted variant is available.

Which browsers are supported?

All modern browsers (Chrome 90+, Firefox 88+, Safari 14+, Edge). The RUM snippet also works in Webview contexts for mobile apps.

How much does it cost?

Pricing based on monthly page views and number of monitored sites. Request a quote at hello@conocido.nl with your volumes.

How long does setup take?

Paste one line of JavaScript on your site, done. Synthetic checks can be configured in the dashboard in 5 minutes.

Does AppVitals replace New Relic or Datadog?

For most use-cases yes — AppVitals is a fraction of the price and complexity by design. For deep code-level APM, New Relic/Datadog remain better; AppVitals focuses on user experience.
